Monika est une jolie étudiante polonaise vivant à Londres. Par conséquent elle est une des rares filles portant des bottes de cheval dans les rues de Londres au milieu de toutes ces Hunter. Et cela lui vaut souvent un franc succès, d'autant qu'elle les porte partout et lorsque la météo n'est pas clémente, c'est-à-dire souvent. Dans son joli blog de mode également de nombreuses façons de les porter, du style "festival rock" comme ici, au style "Nord Américaine décontractée" avec une doudoune sans manches et une casquette. Son blog titré "Makes it simple" est rédigé dans un excellent anglais et Monika mérite amplement sa place dans cette série "Blog de fille". Le mail qu'elle m'a envoyé et reproduit ci-dessous explique parfaitement son point de vue sur ses bottes. Un grand merci.

"Yes, I do wear them in London downtown, to university, shopping etc. If weather is not very convincing then what else rather than my rubber boots could i wear? :) That's true, most people wear Hunters over there and I guess that's the reason why I'm always complimented about my boots. They look stylish and they fit to the leg properly, so as if someone see them from far, they would never say that they are rubber boots"

Monika is a lovely polish student living in London. Consequently she's one of the very few girls wearing rubber riding boots in the streets of London amongst all of those in Hunter. And she often earned a real success, especially since she wears them everywhere and when weather is inclement, that's to say "often". Likewise in her nice fashion blog she shows many manners to style them: "rock festival" way as here with camo jacket and shorts on naked legs, or "North American casual girl" with a sleeveless jacket and cap. Her blog she called "Makes it simple" is drafted in an excellent english and Monika more than deserves her place in this "Girl's Blog" seies. "Oui, je les porte à Londres même, à la fac, pour faire du shopping etc. Si le temps n'est pas très engageant que puis-je porter d'autre que mes bottes en caoutchouc? :) Il est vrai qu'ici la plupart des gens portent des Hunter et je crois que c'est la raison pour laquelle je suis toujours complimentée sur mes bottes. Elles font élégantes et moulent la jambe comme il faut, de sorte que lorsqu'on les voit de loin, on ne pourrait jamais deviner que ce sont des bottes en caoutchouc"

Merci à ce nouveau contributeur, Peter, de Slovaquie, avec ces photos prises le week-end dernier à l'occasion d'un passage à Londres. Peu de bdc comme on pouvait le deviner au royaume des Hunter. Thank you to this new contributor, Peter, from Slovakia, with these photos taken last weekend during a visit to London. Peter: "I have been in London this week and I made some photos of girls in rubber boots. Unfortunatelly for you there were not so many rubber riding boots. In London are Hunter boots "at home". So girls prefer them."

About the trend in Slovakia: "Riding boots (rubber, leather or synthetic) are worn by girls and women in Slovakia the most if is cold, rainy or chilly weather. Unfortunatelly they prefer leather or synthetic versions. If you see a girl in rubber riding boots, it will be in cheap Fouganza boots (or similar) and Armani shiny riding style boots (or cheaper imitations). Then you can of course see girls in Hunter riding boots (Regent, Sandhurst models). The trend of wearing riding boots in long time is settled. Girls wear more boots in bad weather obviously."

Cela fait plus d'une année que Magdalena m'a donné son accord. Depuis elle a présenté un superbe look tout simple avec ses bottes de cheval portées avec un slim gris clair, j'adore l'association (ci-dessus). La photo a été prise à Londres. La tenue préalablement choisie, ci-dessous, est aussi séduisante, plus féminine avec cette jupe noire et cette ceinture cloutée. La photo a été prise dans un centre commercial de Szczecin, imprononçable, une ville sur la mer Baltique, quelques jours après avoir acheté ses bottes d'équitation dans le Decathlon de cette ville.
Magda est une fille très sympa, elle vit maintenant à Londres où elle poursuit son blog de beauté et de mode. Beaucoup d'autres posts avec ses bottes qu'elle porte avec toujours beaucoup d'allure. Il existe donc des filles en bdc dans les rues de Londres! Il pleut tout le temps à Szczecin, tout comme à Londres, un prétexte pour les porter tout le temps!

"These boots are absolutly comfy! I'm wearing them all the time because here it's always raining!"

It's been over a year since Magdalena gave me her agreement. Since she showed a great casual outfit with her rubber riding boots worn with light gray skinny jeans, I love the association (see above). The previously chosen outfit (bellow) is as appealing, more feminine with this black skirt and the studded belt. The pic was taken in a shopping center in Szczecin, unpronounceable, her city of the Baltic Sea in Poland, a few days after buying her riding boots in the local Decathlon shop.
Magda is a very nice girl, she now lives in London where she goes on with her beauty and fashion blog. Many other posts related with her ​​boots she is always wearing with a lot of style and great pace. It rains all the time in Szczecin, as in London, a pretext for Magda to wear them all the time! There's at least a girl in rubber riding boots in London streets, it's not trendy there, the Hunter boots being the queens of pavements on rainy days. Thanks Magda!

J'ai vu l'article de Silvia le jour de sa mise en ligne et le soir j'avais son accord. J'aurais voulu vous donner davantage de renseignements mais là je n'ai pas eu de réponses. Il semblerait que Silvia ait emprunté les bottes de cheval d'une copine qui les aurait achetées en France à Nice. Pour couronner le tout Silvia est une Espagnole installée à Londres. Voilà, c'est un peu compliqué.

Ce qui est certain c'est que dans la matinée de dimanche dernier, il avait peu neigé sur Paris mais par contre Londres s'est réveillé sous une épaisse couche de neige. Et Silvia a donc enfilé des bottes de cheval avec son jean et un pull style marin Zara qui lui donne un adorable look breton évident. On croit avoir déjà vu ce look quelque part mais c'est finalement la première photo de ce genre que je publie ; on rêve tous de prendre un pot sur le port de Paimpol avec sa copine ainsi vêtue, non? Le lendemain elle portera une autre tenue avec des Hunter cette fois pour marcher dans la neige.

Son blog de mode est de haute qualité, images en format très large, elle porte assez souvent des slims avec parfois des chaussures à talon sophistiquées, et peu d'infos sur sa vie. En tout cas les tenues et les idées de cette jolie expatriée, à en juger par les commentaires, est suivie par toutes les blogueuses espagnoles. Gracias Silvia.

I saw Silvia's post  the day it went online and later at night  she agreed for my own post. I wanted to provide you with more information but there I could not get any responses. It appears that Silvia has borrowed the riding boots of a girlfriend, Ana, who would have purchased them in France in Nice. To crown it all Silvia is a spanish girl settled in London. Well, that's somewhat complicated to resume!

What is certain is that on  last sunday morning, it had little snowed on Paris while London woke up under a thick blanket of snow. Silvia put on some rubber riding boots with jeans and a Zara sailor style sweater which gives her a lovely  breton look. One believes has already seen this look somewhere before, but it is finally the first image of this kind - with riding boots - which I am publishing ; we all boys there dream visiting Brittany with his girlfriend dressed this way, right? The following day, Silvia decided to wear another outfit with Hunter this time to march in the snow again.

Her fashion blog is high quality, wide formatted images, she wears skinny jeans quite often with sometimes sophisticated heeled shoes, and gives little information about her life. Anyway outfits and views of this  attractive expatriate, judging by the comments, is followed by all the spanish fashion bloggers. Gracias, Silvia.

C'est le blog de filles des superlatifs! Enorme! D'abord le blog de mode de Magda vient de fêter son millionième visiteur en sept mois grace à 652 articles! Ce qui est justifié, tant son contenu est riche et documenté. Ce n'est vraiment pas un blog d'ado, vous trouverez ici les plus grandes marques françaises et italiennes tendances mais dans la catégorie luxe: Chanel & Vuitton (27 articles chacun), Dior, Hermès, Gucci... Et un peu de Zara.
Des vetements de marque donc, mais qu'elle porte toujours de manière décontractée. Ils semblent créés pour elle. On la voit souvent dans son blog en jeans serrés, assise pour un brunch ou dans les rayons d'un supermarché, parfois en compagnie de son fils: une jeune et jolie maman comme on en reve, il n'y qu'à voir la photo en haut.
Lorsque Magda porte des bottes de cheval, elles sont de marque Moschino, achetées en juin dernier, ou Givenchy (en cuir), elle les porte toujours avec style et légèreté.
Magda qui vit à Londres est une des rares Polonaises à avoir répondu favorablement - et immédiatement- à ma requête et je lui en suis vraiment reconnaissant. Elle est dynamique, élégante et décontractée à l'image de son blog ; et de ses modèles:  Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly , Jackie Onassis.

Week-end à Londres avec Carlota

Dimanche soir, au fil de nos mails, Carlota qui est une fille adorable, m'a proposé de m'envoyer d'autres photos d'elle en bottes de cheval, parce que je lui avais dit que dans son blog il n'y en avait qu'une, et qu'on ne voyait pas très bien ses bottes pour l'article que je voulais lui consacrer.

Ce sont les photos d'un week-end qu'elle a passé à Londres en février dernier par des températures glaciales: "I went to London for a whole weekend in February. It was so cold back then. That's why I took my Aigle boots and UGG's with me. I'm also a total UGG fanatic, haha!"

Des photos totalement inédites même dans son propre blog. C'est assez rare qu'une blogueuse de mode me le propose ; merci à toi Carlota. Voici donc une promenade dans Londres avec Carlota, sur le pont piéton "Hungerford bridge" pour commencer, dans une boutique de fringues, avec sa valise... Elle est vraiment la fille qu'on adore croiser.

On sunday evening over our mails, Carlota is an adorable girl, she offered to send me some more pictures of her in her riding boots, because I told her that in her blog there was only one and that it was not a very good pic for the boots. Le courant est tout de suite bien passé entre Natalia et moi, c'est une fille superbe aux longs cheveux bruns, dynamique et pleine d'humour, comme en témoignent la photo ci-dessus et le petit texte de présentation à gauche dans son blog de mode. Mon reve d'adolescent !
Dans cette série de photos réalisée lors d'un récent voyage à Londres, Natalia se réjouit qu'il n'y fasse pas si froid, mais ne regrette pas d'avoir enmené ses Hunter. Elle les porte avec une élégance rare avec une robe en velours noir Zara et un blouson de cuir noir.
Dans son blog agé d'un peu plus d'un an, et que vous devriez visiter, Natalia arborre tantot des tenues de marques haut de gamme, tantot des tenues plus simples mais toujours avec grace et élégance, et sans prétention ; on l'aperçoit meme chez le coiffeur ! Ses textes, essentiellement en espagnol, sont directs et sans ambages. Merci, Natalia !
