Notre contact date d'aujourd'hui, le post d'il y a trois mois, la photo de presque cinq ans. Laura est celle de gauche en Hunter vertes. Une photo et une attitude pleines de joie, de rock et de boue au festival rock "T in the park" de 2012 en Ecosse. Pas de bottes de cheval mais malgré tout un charme fou que nous souhaitons bientôt retrouver aux prochains festivals d'été. Justement, suite à de nombreux incidents ces dernières éditions ce festival n'aura pas lieu cet été mais sera remplacé par un tout nouveau festival, à Glasgow, et à la même date que celle où TITP aurait eu lieu.

Our contact date is today, the post was three months ago, the picture is almost five years new. A photo and attitude full of joy, rock and mud at "T in the park" rock festival of 2012 in Scotland. Though Hunter boots instead rubber riding boots, a given off crazy charm that we hope to find again at the next summer festivals.

About that T In The Park’s organisers confirmed last november that the festival will be ‘taking a break’ in 2017 after a series of problems in recent years at Strathallan Castle. A new Scottish festival called TRNSMT has been officially announced. Titled TRNSMT, the new festival will take place on Glasgow Green from July 7-9, traditionally the same dates as T In The Park is held.

Dora, ses amis la surnomment " l'exploratrice" forcément, a 19 ans sur cette photo. Elle a été prise lors des vacances des fêtes de fin d'année chez elle. Impossible de savoir où, je dirais en Hongrie. Disons que Dora est de Glasgow. Avec plusieurs copines de diverses nationalités, elle participe à ce blog de mode original; Toutes ces copines étudiantes elle présente régulièrement des looks. Ses bottes, elle les a reçues ce noël là en cadeau et elle a bien l'intention de repartir avec à la fac de Glasgow. Bonne idée, l'Ecosse doit être bien humide en janvier. Parions qu'elle aura été probablement la seule  à en porter au milieu de copines en Hunter.

Dora, her friends necessarily nicknamed her "The explorer", is 19 years old on this picture. It was taken during Christmas holidays at home. Impossible to know where, I would say in Hungary. Let's say Dora is from Glasgow. With several girlfriends of various nationalities, she participates in this original fashion blog by regularly presentig outfits. Her boots were a Christmas gift, some Decathlon Ifeel, and she intends to go back to her Glasgow College with them. Nice idea, Scotland is sure wet in january. Let's bet she will probably be the only one with rubber riding boots among girlfriends in Hunter.

Isabelle, Izzy est la soeur de George Harrison ! De l'homonyme du Beatle, bien sûr ! En tout cas cette jeune et jolie Ecossaise propose un look, tenez-vous bien, pour promener son chien, et texte plein d'humour british dans ce sympathique post de juin dernier. Comme, elle le dit, même si vous ne croiserez personne, autant porter un look à la fois commode et attirant. C'est le cas avec ce legging imprimé Topshop qui se glisse facilement dans ses hautes Hunter noires, et ce chandail noir décontracté. Chaque fois je l'ai constaté, bottes de cheval ou Hunter noires avec un haut noir sont l'assurance d'un look facilement réussi. Vous l'aurez deviné, cette simplicité colle à l'esprit de notre blog. Dans le même post un autre look avec un jean slim. Un grand merci à Izzy Harrison qui a un bien joli blog, et des photos énormes.
Isabelle Izzy is George Harrison's sister ! Namesake of the third Beatle, of course! In any event this pretty young Scottish provides a look, brace yourself, for walking the dog, and a text full of british humor in this friendly post made last june. As she says, even if you do come across anybody, wearing a look that is both convenient and attractive is a pleasure. This is the case with this printed Topshop leggings that fits easily into her tall black Hunter, and this casual black knitted jumper. Each time I have seen this, black rubber riding boots or Hunter wellies with a black top, easily ensure a successful look. You guessed it, this simplicity sticks to the spirit of our blog. A big thank you to Izzy Harrison who runs a nice blog with huge pics.

Envoi d'Alex | Ottawa & Glasgow

Merci à notre ami voyageur Alex. Au Canada à Ottawa où après quelques jours de chaleur et une nuit de pluie, le matin des filles en bdp sortaient de partout. Les filles en gilet de sauvetage étaient là pour encourager des personnes allant faire de la voile pour apprendre à nager. Tout en bas, lors d'un séjour en Ecosse à Glasgow, une fille lisant dans une bibliothèque. 

Alex: "I have spent five days in Ottawa where the first days were hot and dry, then after overnight rain several ladies appeared in their rubber boots, everything from Hunters to short ones (which I don't much care for). The two wearing lifejackets and rubber boots were part of a group encouraging people who go sailing to learn to swim ! Ottawa must be a wonderful place for rubber boot lovers a little earlier in the spring when the snow is melting and apparently the streets get very wet with slush and puddles. I was recently in Glasgow and photographed the lady on the phone in her red jacket and pink rubber boots, then went into the library and there was lady in rubber boots reading a book."

Nieves | Vacances en Ecosse

Comme prévu, Nieves (BDF #118) a rejoint son copain en Ecosse pour ses vacances. Comme prévu le climat n'est pas celui des côtes espagnoles qu'elle a quittées. Comme prévu elle a enmené ses bottes de cheval, pas inutiles ici, portées sur un jegging Primark, de même qu'un joli pull. Comme prévu la sympathique Nieves m'a tenu au courant et me propose de montrer dans BDC69  un épisode de son séjour. On la voit ici au milieu des mouettes devant la forteresse médiévale de Dunottar au nord-est de l'Ecosse. Une bien jolie tenue dans les tons camel, à la fois élégante et décontractée, bien adaptée au climat local et qui conviendrait tout autant à Paris ces jours-ci. Un grand merci à l'adorable Nieves qui je le sens nous donnera d'autres nouvelles écossaises. Elle nous dira peut-être si des fantômes portent aussi des bottes de cheval!

As expected, Nieves (Girl's blog #118) joined her boyfriend in Scotland for her holidays. As expected, weather is not the same as on spanish coast she left behind. As expected she brought her rubber riding boots, essential here, worn on Primark jeggings, and with a pretty sweater. As expected Nieves kept me informed and kindly offered me showing in BDC69 an episode of her stay. Sitting in middle of seagulls in front of Dunottar medieval fortress, northeast of Scotland. A very pretty outfit in camel tone, both elegant and relaxed, well adapted to local climate and which may also be appropriate in Paris these days. A big thank you to the lovely Nieves who, I can feel will, give us other scottish news. Maybe she'll tell us if ghosts also wear rubber riding boots!
